According to the magazine wealth management is the “new and improved terminology” to replace “financial planning” which has been so misused and “perverted by brokers, agents, banks, and wirehouses…”

Estate Planning

Taught continuing education classes for the California State Bar, various estate planning councils, and prepare materials utilized at American Law Institute - American Bar Association presentations.

Income Tax

Emphasized income tax in his Master of Business Administration program, was a member of the National Association of Accountants, and had his software reviewed by WebCPA and by Accounting Today.

Cash Flow and Debt Management

Consulted with clients regarding cash flow management and debt reduction strategies and created workbooks and hosted public seminars on the subject.

Minimum Required Distributions

Created the MRD-DeterminatorTM and Pre-DeterminatorTM software which was designed to do all of the minimum required distribution calculations and is geared toward compliance and investment advice. Investment Fiduciaries

Awarded the ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY ANALYST® designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies, at the University of Pittsburgh. The AIFA designation signifies the ability to perform fiduciary assessments. He also was acknowledged for his contributions to The Prudent Investor Act: A Guide to Understanding by W. Scott Simon.

Withdrawal Rates

Studied withdrawal rates and portfolio allocations to determine appropriate annual withdrawal amounts that provide inflation protection while also managing the risk of asset depletion.
