Michael Nevens

Michael is currently training and preparing to become an advisor. Michael has extensive experience in marketing and strategic planning with the International Foundation. His clients have included the Hignell Companies, Butte County, Hydrotec Solutions, ERC Grant, and Kleen Kanteen. He is currently a teaching faculty member of both California State University, Chico and Butte College in the Marketing and Communications department and the Business Management department.  

Michael has been serving as the Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for Chico State University and Butte College. His past work experience includes director of student ministries for Multnomah Presbyterian Church, director of marketing and strategic management for U.S. Thermoelectric, director of marketing for Design Concept Boats, and youth minister for San Ramon Presbyterian Church.  

Michael has been active as a volunteer member of the Youth Transition Network, a national effort to improve the transition of high school students to college in respect to faith and values. Other volunteer activities include being the chaplain to the Butte College football team, coaching high school basketball, building houses for Habitat for Humanity, and working for various youth programs and homeless organizations.  

Michael received a Master of Business Administration degree from California State University, Chico after graduating with a degree in Business Administration with Marketing Concentration. Since then he has received a Master of Theology degree from Multnomah University Seminary.
